Yesterday we shows our work we separated earlier to discuss see is it ok or not. Krystal have come out with the title of 'cuptizen' as our web page title. we each have to design the web logo and choose the best from one of us. The illustration i draw, need to be look more sketchy and rough to coordinate with the concept.We also conclude the mood to finalize it to 12 kind of mood and i'll be drawing the objects that will appear on the mug base on the mood.Lay huey also show us the flash of the web site,the design will be like on a scrap book or torn paper based. We divided our job to i'm will do all the illustration for the web, lay huey will try more on flash effect , wendy will do the mood board and krystal will do the content of our web.
Tomorrow,we also decided to take picture for our web background and do the sound using hitting the mug as our background music...

meeting
On monday 14th, we've have our meeting and we discussed about separating the mug into 12 kind of mood. Lay huey has narrow down to workaholic, artsy fartsy, traditional, festive, relax, romantic, fashionista, urban chic, touristy, poverty, kiddy and commercial.we divided to each people research on 3 mood.
On wednesday 16th we book the photo lab for mugs photo shoot. we all brings the mugs that we found and take photo of them in different angles.We use lay huey's camera cuz is DSLR, clearer. Me and wendy help set up the mugs and angle for her.After the photo shoot, i got a idea for our web, using the sound of the mug by hitting it. We really enjoy making the sound. Wendy even recorded it...it was fun.

2nd tutorial
At the second tutorial, lay huey,me and wendy we sit down and discuss through what we have conclude. Lay huey have shown some of the example of web design and her work as well.. it was amazing!!! i really surprise that she have the skill to do so nice ..
At first our idea is about reflecting highclass and lowclass through cup in KL, but is quite difficult to argue to categories it. So, after a long discussion and some guide from mr.sean, we finallize our idea to be more specific and related. We'll concentrate only in mugs or cup with ear handling and how kl's people uses them it different ways. we suggested using illustration drawing eyes on real photo mug and giving characteristic towards the mugs, giving life like how they feel when they was used as for different purpose.
After that we divide our job, and i'm responsible for doin illustration and image making for the mugs and some background design for the website.Our next meeting will be on monday 10am.

Post that i didn't post for project 3
This is the first post i post for my project 3, previously i didnt post because of my irresponsible housemate didn't pay the streamyx bill, cause the whole house cannot online..i hate it... well forget it. On wednesday 9th few days ago , me and wendy together went for photo shooting for variety of cups and how kl people make use of it. That day lay huey told us she's is in very bad shape, so she needs to take a break. Luckily she's fully recovered, glad she's alrite!! While Krystal, hope she's alrite as well..
First we went to KLCC in and out to take photos. It was nearly christmas, there they've decorated a stage with candy house and ginger bread man..quite nice but just small portion of it is well decorated..bit dissapointed. The food there also makes me hungry..want to eat them all but dont have enough money...
We take photo along the way..there are alot of small shop selling souvenir and christmas presents, and we found out a lot of the design are using cups!!! We took those picture using wendy's handphone, cuz scare they will notice.. luckily they didnt found out... Later we went upstairs to the cafeteria area to small food stalls.
After that, we went to petaling streets, cuz previously our concept is about using cups to defines highclass and lowclass. At there we really found those paper cups was thrown everywhere, sewer, roadside, telephone booth,...everywhere.. At there, mostly paper cups where found, compare to klcc got wine glass, mug, cups, tea cups, and more.
